Shoom is an impressive XY pad synthesizer that offers three identical synthesizers in one app. Its capabilities extend to playing any pitch within the audible range, without any limitations to a specific scale. However, for those who prefer to use scales, Shoom provides a wide range of options, from traditional 12-tone equal-tempered scales to the more complex xenharmonic and microtonal scales.

 <li>Slide freely or snap notes to scale with adjustable glide rate</li>

 <li>MIDI note input (including MPE), CC control, and clock sync</li>
 <li>Optional remapping of MIDI notes to selected scale pitches</li>
 <li>Bluetooth MIDI support</li>
 <li>Inter-App Audio support with main mix and individual synth outputs</li>
 <li>Audiobus 3 support (including AB MIDI)</li>
 <li>Ableton Link support</li>
 <li>Over 120 bundled presets</li>
 <li>Import and export of presets and CC maps</li>

The synthesizer engine in Shoom offers a variety of powerful features:
<ul>
 <li>Adjustable polyphony with up to 30 voices</li>
 <li>Two oscillators with 4 waveforms and PWM, as well as a noise generator</li>
 <li>Oscillator FM cross-modulation</li>
 <li>Resonant low-pass filter with 4 poles (24 dB/octave), overdrive, and pitch tracking</li>
 <li>Two variable slope ADSR envelopes for amplitude and filter cutoff</li>
 <li>Two LFOs with 9 waveforms, assignable parameters, trigger and global running modes, fade-in and phase controls</li>
 <li>Y-axis position / MIDI CC#74 can be used as a modulation source with assignable parameters</li>
 <li>MIDI channel pressure / polyphonic aftertouch can also be used as a modulation source with assignable parameters</li>
 <li>MIDI velocity modulation of amplitude and filter envelopes</li>
 <li>Note pan randomizer</li>
 <li>Built-in stereo delay and reverb effects</li>
</ul>
